Module 3
At the end of this module the Learner will be able to:
• Set up typical equipment in preparation for TIG process
• Prepare shielding gas supply and flow rate
• Prepare a TIG torch
Module 4
At the end of this module the Learner will be able to:
• Strike an arc using 3 methods
• Run a fusion bead
• Run a stringer bead
• Weld a square butt-joint
• Weld an inside and outside corner joint on stainless steel
• Weld a lap joint on aluminium
